Developing New Authors
Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than helping newer authors find their voice, break into the publishing industry and flourish with writing opportunities. I’m grateful that so many have gone on to successful careers and stay in touch.
Two favorites are Connie Cavanaugh, a gifted book author, article writer and sought-after international speaker to thousands, and Adam Miller, associate editor of On Mission and writer extraordinaire.
“Carolyn Curtis has a knack for recognizing potential and a heart for developing new writers. Her willingness to give me, a fledgling writer, large assignments and then guide me and teach me gave me confidence and advanced my craft to new levels. More than an editor, Carolyn became one of my dearest friends and she continues to influence my writing and my life today. I highly value Carolyn’s opinion and often seek it in both editorial and personal matters.”

“I really appreciate any time I get to talk with you about my writing ideas and projects. You are always such an encouragement to me, Carolyn.” Adam Miller, associate editor, On Mission magazine and writer of freelance articles
